Vidhyanjali Academy Residential School celebrated its 6th Annual Day on 23 November in the school premises on the theme on ‘Maatr’ with great enthusiasm and zeal. The entire school participated whole heartedly towards the success of this grand event. The triumph was made possible by the relentless efforts of our Principal Mrs. Neeta Audichya and the team of Vidhyanjali Academy Residential School. It was presided by the Chief Guest Her Highness Mrs.Kalpana Devi Ji w/o M.K. Ijayraj Singh Ji(Ex – MP Kota-Bundi),Honourable Chairperson Mrs.PoonamGoyal (Ex – MLA Kota), Respected Director Mrs.AshimaGoyal of the school.
The function started with auspicious ceremony of Lamp – Lightening and Ganesh vandana. The evening was made more colourful and enchanting with cultural programmes likewise SaraswatiVandana, Skit- Save Water Save Earth, nice poetry of foot- steps by the tiny-tots of KG section on I Love Mom, M O M M Y, Save Water, Na Kato Mujhe, a ramp walk was also organised for wards with their mothers and many more. Our talented students also presented a Patriotic Skit , it was a journey into thriving compassion among characters and heart touching scenes interwoven into a dramatically overwhelming drama composed by the students. Andhere Se Darta Hu Me maa, Aarambh He Prachnd He, another skit on Vriddhashram which shakened all the audience as ‘parents are assets and pillars of the family not a burden, A mime – Respect Your Parents. Nine Forms of MaaDurga in rudraswaroopa was also seen in grand manner and in the final act heart touching medley fusion was presented TukitniAchhi he oh maa, students saw their love and affection towards their mothers.
After the Principal’s Annual Report, prize distribution ceremony was organised in which best academics performance was awarded of the session 2016-17, best selfie mom and me and best mom on the ramp were awarded by the Chief Guest. After that our Chief Guest was requested to grace the dais, she shared her kind and thoughtful words among the students and parents. In the end, a vote of thanks was given by the Principal Mrs. Neeta Audichya.
Diwali Celebration (13-10-17)
Diwali,the festival of lights is celebrated all over India in order to welcome Lord Rama back home after his victory Ravana as a special day. All the students came in beautiful and colourful attires. The whole school was decorated in a festive look with diyas and rangolis. A special assembly was conducted, in which a skit on the theme ‘Save Environment’ was presented by the students and the message to save environment , not to burn crackers as it was a wastage of money as well as a cause of pollution. Different competitions as rangoli competition, Diya decoration, thali decoration etc. were organised .honourable director of the school Mrs.AshimaGoyal , the Principal Mrs. Neeta Audichya and all the teachers gave best wishes to the students.
EDUCATIONAL TRIP (27-9-2017)
VISIT TO SARAS DAIRY
Educational trips are very essential and important for students. In account of this students from class I to X of Vidhyanjali Academy Residential School visited the Saras Dairy with their class teachers on 27 Sep. 2017. Purpose of the visit was to give students at insight to the production and working procedure of industry. The dairy officials closely illustrated tetra packing, milk powder packingand all the dairy processes including sterilization, pasteurization, ghee production,paneer making, milk processing, packing of all products, etc. The questions and queries of the students were also answered. It was an enlightening and enriching experience for the students as well as teachers.
VISIT TO GANESH UDHYAN
Educational tour offers an opportunity for a rich immersion experience, and a tremendous way to facilitate learning. In account of this Vidhya Angels of Vidhanjali Academy from Play Group to H.K.G. section visited the Ganesh Udhyan near KhadeGaneshji Temple with their class teachers. Students visited the park where they learnt about various types of plants those botanical names were written on the specific boards. Tiny tots played game and enjoyed a lot. Outside visit far from school and home increased the level of learning of the students.
DUSSEHRA CELEBRATION (26-9-2017)
Dussehra, The festival to celebration the victory of good over evil, was celebrated in school campus with a lot of religious zeal and fervour a special assembly was conducted in which teachers described the significance of the festival, Dandia, a traditional dance was presented by the student in a graceful manner.Colourful attire worn by the dancers and colourful sticks carried by them were eye – catching.
To mark Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana and to reinforce the message that good always triumphs, the effigy of Ravana was burnt. Honourable Director Mrs.Ashima Goyal and Respected Principal Mrs. Neeta Audichya blessed the students while inspiring them to follow the path of truth.
INDEPENDENCE DAY (15-8-2017)
INDEPENDENCE DAY is celebrated with great fervor of patriotism in Vidhyanjali Academy Residential School. For this day we had made all the preparations in advance as we were going the to celebrate three ceremonies i.e Independence Day, Janmashtami and Investiture Ceremony together. In the morning our school cadets marched past in our school premises with a band.
Director of Vidhyanjali Academy Residential School, Mrs. Ashima Goyal was the chief guest of the day . She hoisted the national flag on the school building sharp at 8:30 am. All the students and teachers saluted the flag and sang National Anthem.
In the series of cultural programme patriotic poems and songs were recited by students. Beautiful patriotic dance drama “Luka Chhupi Bahut Hui “ was presented by the students. Informative speeches were also given.
In the end, Honorable Director, Ashima Goyal Mam delivered a short speech about supreme sacrifice the great martyrs gave for the sake of freedom. Principal, Neeta Audichya also presented their own views on the occasion of Independence Day.
In the end of ceremony Sweet Laddus and Biscuits were distributed among the students.
The tiny tots of kindergarten and senior students celebrated Janmashtami on 15th August and cultural dance presented by students. The little Krishna and Radha looked adorable in their traditional costumes the entire area was transformed into a land of joy, celebrations and happiness.
A mesmerizing performance of “Krishna Leela ” was given by talented students of Vidhyanjali. To participate in fancy dress competition KG students came dressed up as Krishna, Radha, Vasudev, Sudama, Yashoda etc. Melodious Bhajans were also recited by the students as well as teachers. The entire event was enjoyed by all Vidhya Angels.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY (15-08-17)
“Leaders are not born but made by their experiences in life”. To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body, the Investiture Ceremony of Vidhyanjali Academy Residential School for the academic session 2017-2018 was held in the school premises.
Honourable Director of Vidhyanjali Academy Residential School Mrs.AashimaGoyal was the chief guest of the function. Respected Principal Mrs.NeetaAudichyawas also present on the occasion.
Ms.Pallavi Sharma and Kapil Ojha of class 10th were selected as the Head Girl & Head Boy of the school caboinet 2017-18.
In this series, Captains and Vice Captains of four houses Leopard House, Panther House, Jaguar House, Tiger House were also selected. Honourable Director of Mrs Ashima Goyal with Mrs.Neeta Audichya, Principal pined the badges and gave the sashes to the student council. The students’ council took the oath to hold the school motto of Loyalty, Truth and Honour in high esteem. Director Ma’am congratulated them and advised them to be role models and extended a supporting hand to the students’ council for the smooth running of the school.
MOCK FIRE DRILL (05-8-2017)
In continuation of the school’s vigorous and on-going endeavours to create awareness among the students about Disaster Management, a mock fire drill was conducted at Vidhayanjali academy.It is necessary for student community to know vivid types of fire fighting techniques and the ways to respond swiftly in times of such emergency situation. Prior to the commencement of the exercise, the students and teachers were split into various teams.
The ‘Evacuation’ operation began moments after the fire alarm team alerted the students about ‘fire’ in the building. The students were immediately evacuated from their classrooms and asked together at the playground area. Using the fire extinguishers, fire was immediately put out. The Fire Brigade Officer Mandeep Singh Anand with his team explained and demonstrated different improvised methods being followed and conducted awareness campaigns on fire fighting techniques and rescue operation.
HEALTHY DIET SHOW (03-08-2017)
Healthy Diet Show for class Ist to Vth and VIth to Xth was organized in the school campus. The sole purpose activity was to make students aware of healthy eating habits and familiarizes children to non-fire cooking and make them independent. Students were asked to bring the ingredients from their home and preparation was done at school.
Results were declared by Honorable Director Mrs. Ashima Goyal according to the servings as well as table manners, taste and nutrition value. It was very enriching experience for the students to make the delicious dishes independently.

In this order Plantation Day was celebrated in Vidhyanjali Academy Residential School’s premises .Tiny tots of juniors section and students of senior section planted saplings with great enthusiasm.

GRANDPARENTS DAY (29-07-2017)
Grandparents are a delightful blend of laughter, caring deeds, wonderfull stories and love, grandparents are special to every child. In keeping with this Vidhyanjali Academy Residential School celebrated grandparents day on 29 July. Saturday. The program was started by welcome song by the students. Various interesting games like .”Ball in Basket”, “Who is the boss” were orgnized for the grandparents that they are really enjoyed. Juniour section also tapped there tiny tots of feel on the songs like “Chak dhum dhum…., Dadi Amma Dadi Amma Man Jao……..
Our Honourable Director Mrs. Ashima Goyal delivered very informative speech regarding grandparents who paid there valuable time to our school. In the end all the grandparents enjoyed delicious refreshment . They returned their homes with great smile on their face and paid valuable blessing for our tiny tots.
KARGIL VIJAY DIVAS (26-07-2017)
A Kargil Vijay Divas named after the success of operation Vijay. It is celebrated on 26 July every year in honour of the Kargil war’s heros. This day is celebrated in the Kargil Dras sector and the capital New Delhi, where the Prime Minister of India, pays homage to the soldiers at Amar Jawan Jyoti at India gate every year.
Our prestigious institution also celebrated the great victory of our Indian soldiers to pay tribute in remembrance of our brave soldiers.A beautiful (War or peace)Skit was presented by the talented artists of class VI-VII. Speeches were given and poems were recited by junior section.
The Honorable Director of Vidhyanjali Academy Residential School, Mrs. Ashima Goyal gave a beautiful speech why we celebrate Vijay Diwas and paid tribute all the brave soldiers.
In UIT Auditorium Kargil Vijay Utsav is also celebrated with great enthusiasm. The slogan competition was held where Karan Pareta (class X ) and Vineet Payak (class IX ) from our school won the prizes.

COLOURING COMPETITION (21-07-17)
A Colouring Competition for the Kindergarten was held on 21.07.17. The tiny tots were given the outline of different pictures. They used their imagination and coloured it with different colours which had an amazing effect. The children were so enthusiastic and coloured it so beautifully. The end result was spectacular. Three Winners were chosen. In all, the children tried their best and enjoyed the activity.
SPLASH POOL PARTY (15-07-2017)
The scene at Vidhyanjali Academy Residential School was really awesome today. It was a day full of enjoyment as it was a break from monotonous study schedule, with a splash pool party. The School had arranged a special Splash Pool Party, in which the children of Nursery , L.K.G. and U.K.G turned up in colourful swim suits. The Tiny Tots had great fun splashing in the water while others were getting little phobic to dance in water. The Director of the School Mrs. Ashima Goyal conveyed that the school is ready to put efforts for the physical and mental development of the students and this party was an effort on the same track.
YOGA DAY (21-06-2017)
Vidhyanjali Academy Residential School School started yoga practices in the morning assembly for 1 hour in the light of the 3rd INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY which was initiated, pioneered, emphasized and advocated by Honorable Prime Minister of India Sri Narendra Modi ji and which has come in vogue to be celebrated on 21st June 2017.
Despite many teachers well tuned with various aspects, dimensions and practices of yoga, the school yoga teacher helped the students to learn yoga to keep them physically fit and mentally healthy.
Our Yoga teacher discussed and demonstrated many ways and dimensions of different types of pranayama and reckoned many benefits of early rising and practicing yoga. Speaking to the assembly The Principal, Mrs. Neeta Audichya also pointed out the contribution of yoga in maintaining fitness and good health and how it helps students to improve memory power and understand a concept and its context. She said that yoga is the scientific way of living healthy and increasing life expectancy. It keeps the physician away and helps various parts of the body perform their functions smoothly in proper coordination. It strengthens the immune system and does internal cleansing of blood, body parts, body systems, organs, veins & arteries. A zero hour has been created to facilitate yoga and train students how to do it and educate them about its benefits.
SUN SHINE DAY CELEBRATION (17-04-2017)
To recapitulate and reinforce the color, Sun Shine Day was celebrated in Kindergarten. Children came to school dressed in yellow attires. They brought yellow fruits such as bananas, pine apples and melons for lunch. Focusing on the theme teachers planned art and collage activities, their art work is displayed on the soft boards. A garden with paper sun flowers was also set up in the kindergarten activity room. The best dressed children were selected from various classes and given merit cards. The day consisted of various colorful activities including drawing and coloring competitions, etc. The children were very happy when they received smilyes , sunflowers and appreciation certificates to take home.
FRUIT DAY CELEBRATION (13-04-2017)
With an objective to create awareness among children and parents about the importance of consumption of fruits in regular diet, Vidhyanjali Academy Residential School celebrated ‘Fruit Day' and the main participants were children from Nursery to Class II. . Children came dressed as various fruits .It was colourful mélange of fruits. The tiny tots also learned more about the taste, smell, colour and texture of each fruit and vegetable. They enjoyed salad & juice of fruits. They also sang songs and rhymes on fruits. Teachers made interesting stories to motivate kids to include green vegetables and fruits in their diet. They enjoyed the moments of joy and happiness on this special day.
RED DAY CELEBRATION IN KINDERGARTEN (11-04-2017)
Kindergarten has a unique way of learning about colours and Red is warmest of all colours. In this order ‘Red Day’ was celebrated on 11April by dressing up in red clothes and bringing foods red in colour to eat. Crafts they made that day were red and they even recited poems based on it. This gave the tiny tots an opportunity to identify various items associated with Red colour and the entire experience strengthened their learning in an enjoyable manner.
