On the auspicious morning of 26th Jan, our school celebrated the 71st anniversary of Republic Day in the school premises. It was the matter of great pride for all of us.
The National Flag was unfurled by the Director Mrs. Ashima Goyal , which was followed by the national anthem, on the occasion Director Ashima Goyal told the students about the importance of Republic Day and later she distributed sweets to the students .
National song “Vande Matram “ was sung by the school Choir. The Principal, teachers and the students didn't want to leave any stone unturned in making this monumental day a memorable one.
National Girl Child Day ( 24-01-2020)
National Girl Child Day is celebrated every year in India on 24 January. The purpose of celebrating this day is to make people aware of discrimination against girls in the country. Our school also celebrated Girl Child Day on 24/01/2020 in which a rally was taken out around the school area , Advocate Brijesh Joshi explained the students about the importance of girl child , he along with the school Director Mrs. Ashima Goyal , staff & students took a pledge on the protection & respect of Girl child.
"Beti Bachao Beti Padhao" was started in 2015 with the objective of empowering women. The 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' campaign of the government is a very good step for the girls. On the occasion of National Girl Child Day, different types of campaigns were conducted on issues like safety, education, sex ratio, health of girls. People are made aware through street plays. Let me tell you that not only in the village, women have to face gender discrimination in the tapas of educated education.
Kota Junior Cyclothon Season -2 (15-12-2019)
VidhyanjaliAcademy had organized a Kota Junior Cyclothon Season -2 event for the kids of the age group between 7 yrs to 17yrs , It was the initiative taken by Director AshimaGoyal. The event was organized on 15thDecember 2019 in the school premises . It was a Tricycle & a Bicycle ride in which around 523children participated. The event started at 6.30 am in the morning, all the kids were very excited and drove cycles joyfully..
The eventwas to introduce children to the joy of cycling, encourage their independence and increase confidence.. It is an ideal way to get children to exercise. In the hustle and bustle of modern life, one has lost the connection with nature, so cycling helps to fill in that vacuum. It was not a race , as every rider was a winner. Our Chief guest for the event was our Mr. RajanDushyant (SP. Rural Area), Mrs. Amrita Dohan (Additional SP.). Distribution of Medals, Certificate, Prizes were given by Mr. Deepak Bhargava (SP. City) & Ex MLA Mrs. PoonamGoyal, and Mr. Pankaj Mehta (Congress Secretary, Mr. YashwantSingh . who gave the winner a cash prize of Rs. 5000/- and many other Prizes were given by lucky draw. Consolation prizes were also given. In the end our Director thanked all the participants and the parents for coming and making the event a great success and ensured to have the event every year on a larger scale.
Childrens Day Celebration (14-11-2019)
“There is no garden as beautiful as Childhood”.Every child is a different kind of flower; together they make this world a beautiful garden. A day marking childhood. Children’s Day celebrations focus on children and their enjoyment. The day is celebrated to pay tribute to the legendary freedom fighter and our first Prime ministerPandit Jawaharlal Nehru popularly known as ChaCha.
VidhyanjaliAcademy always strives to emerge out with something new for its students especially on children’s day being a day especially for them. Today on 14th November 2019theteachers of Vidhyanjali Academy gave various performances for the students in order to express their love and care for them.
The program started by paying tribute to our first Prime Minister Pt. Jawarlal Nehru by Director AshimaGoyal, Mr. SumitAgrwal, Mr. GauravGoyal and Tarun Jain members of Round Table Indiaand the staff. The theme of the whole celebration was “Children you are precious for us. We love you”.
The other mesmerizing performances weresongs by the teachers. performance set the stage. To highlight the importance of this day a speech was given by Director AshimaGoyal and guest for the hour Mr. GauravGoyal. The students were overwhelmed with the entire effort. They cheered their teachers on as they saw them on stage, The campus was buzzing with excitement and joy as few games were also kept for them by the school Director who after the games distributed gifts to the children.
National Unity Day (31-10-2019)
Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day)
As an endeavor to solidify the bond of oneness and unification, the country celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel on 31st October as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day). Vidhyanjali Academy organized various activities in the school premises in order to extend their heartfelt appreciation about the life and the involvement of the great leader.
Director Ashima Goyal guided the students towards the importance of Rastriya Ekta Diwas. Students & teachers took an oath to preserve the unity, integrity and security of the nation in the spirit of unification of the county. This was followed by Run for Unity. Thereafter students also engaged themselves in reading, writing, debate and discussing about the life history and contribution of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel towards making of India.
Diwali Celebration (22-10-2019)
Diwali, the festival of lights is celebrated all over India in order to welcome Lord Rama’s return back to Ayodhya along with Sita and Laxman after his victory overRavana. All the students came in beautiful and colorful attires. The whole school was decorated in a festive look with diyas, hanging lamps and rangolis. A special assembly was conducted, in which the message was given to save environment by notburning crackers as it causedboth sound and air pollution.
On the occasion various competitionssuch as Rangoli, Diya, Thali decoration and a special party was organized.Honorable Director Mrs.AshimaGoyalwished thestudents on the occasion of Diwali and told them to enjoy the festival, but be careful when burning crackers.
Dandiya Celebration (05-10-2019)
“Dancing with the feet is one thing but dancing with the heart is another”
Vidhyanjali Academy celebrated ‘Dandiya Raas’& Dussehra in which students and teachers participated with great enthusiasm. The programme began with ‘Aarti’ of Goddess Durga by Director Ashima Goyal along with teachers and students. All the participants had gathered in the school in colourful traditional attires. The children along with teachers, all danced on the beats and tune of ‘Dandiya’ very enthusiastically. Director Mrs. Ashima Goyal greeted everyone on the occasion of Dussehra.
Gandhi Jayanti (02-10-2019)
India’s 3rd national festival, Gandhi Jayanti, is celebrated by the entire nation to commemorate the birth anniversary of the father of our Nation-Mahatama Gandhi. Vidhyanjali Academy celebrated bapu’s 150th birthday in school, with great zeal, enthusiasm and patriotism. The assembly began with a special tribute to Gandhi ji. Director Mrs. Ashima Goyal paid tribute to Gandhiji by lighting the lampand garlanding the portrait. The staff members along with the students also paid tribute to Gandhiji.
The highlight of the assembly was a song glorifying Gandhi ji and how he heralded a new era for our country. The assembly wound up with a medley of Bapu’s favourite songs such as Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram. Children were given an account of how he led our nation in the fight for freedom and sacrificed his life for social equality. The teachers told the children about the dandi march and about the swadeshi movement, about wearing homespun cotton clothes, and about how he stressed on leading a simple but noble life.
On the occasion all the staff members wore something in Khadi.
Teacher s Day Celebration (05-09-2019)
We celebrate Teachers’ day every year throughout the country on 5th September. This year also Teachers day was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Students express their gratitude and appreciation for their teachers on this day. This day is dedicated to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan – second President of India. The great academic philosopher, and one of the most well known diplomats, scholar, president of India and above all a teacher. As a tribute to this great teacher, his birthday has been observed as teachers' day. As per the Indian culture, we started the function with Saraswati Vandana . Our Director Mrs. Ashima Goyal had organized games for the Teachers, and winners were given prizes. She also gave gifts to all the staff members and also lunch for all .
Inter School Essay Writing Competition. (30-08-2019)
The Inter School Essay Writing Competition was organized on 30th August 2019 under the aegis of Kota Sahodaya Complex in our premises , The Chief guest for the event was Er. Pradeep Singh Gour president of Kota Sahodaya Complex and principal of Lawrence & Mayo Public School Kota, and the guest of honor was Mrs. RohiniKohli . Director Mrs. AshimaGoyalwelcomed the guest by giving them Saplings as a token of love from Vidhyanjali Academy. About 22 schools and 44 students participated in the event. The students were divided in two categories i.e category A for classes VI to VIII and category B for classes IX to XII. A motivation speech was given by Er. Pradeep Singh Gour and vote of thanks was given by Director Mrs. AshimaGoyal who thanked all the participants and the dignitaries from different schools who witnessed the event , she also gave everyone a sapling each.
Janmashtami Celebrations (23-08-2019)
On 23rd August 2019, Shree krishnajanmotsav was celebrated. It brought devotion, creativity. The celebration began by offering homage full of devotion to Lord Krishna through Shri Krishna Aarti by the school choir . On this occasion, “Rangoli competition and “Dahihandi” program were organized. The students took great interest in the program. The school Director Mrs. AshimaGoyal explained to the students the importance of Janamashtami. At the end Prasad was given to all.
INDEPENDENCE DAY (15-08-2019)
Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor on 15th August, 2019 in the school ground with the staff, students to mark the 72nd year of freedom from the British rule. On this special occasion, the programme started with flag hoisting by the Director Mrs. AshimaGoyal . The Director addressed the gathering appealing to their nationalistic spirit and urging them to take pride in being an Indian and fulfilling one’s duty with responsibility. She also emphasized the role of youth today as the true wealth of a country. This was followed by a musical rendition by the school choir which sang patriotic songs that awakened everyone’s feelings towards the motherland. Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity. In the end Director Mrs. AshimaGoyal Distributed sweets to everyone.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY – REPORT (21st June 2019)
“Yoga, an ancient but perfect science, deals with the evolution of humanity. This evolution includes all aspects of one’s being, from bodily health to self realization. Yoga means union – the union of body with consciousness and consciousness with the soul. Yoga cultivates the ways of maintaining a balanced attitude in day to day life and endows skill in the performance of one’s actions.”B.K.S. Iyengar
Vidhyanjali Academy, participated enthusiastically in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call to celebrate International Yoga Day.
On June 21, staff and students reported at school at 7.30 am. The yoga session commenced at 8.00 am. and ended at8.30 am after which all were served a healthy fruit beverage. Both staff and students appreciated the importance and benefits of yoga for a stress-free and healthy life
Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured and endure what cannot be cured. Change is not something that we should fear. Rather, it is something that we should welcome. For without change, nothing in this world would ever grow or blossom, and no one in this world would ever move forward to become the person they’re meant to be.
We at the Academy pledge to adopt practices for a happier and healthier lifestyle to enable us to contribute better to bettering this world.
KOTA JUNIORS CYCLOTHON-2019-20

On 23rd March 2019 various stalls were put up by our school , one such stall was from where the participant had to collect their Bibs, bags, T- shirts , caps , breakfast coupons etc were given by the Teachers, again there was another stall where helmets were given to the first 100 registrations, next we had another stall where a expert mechanic was there to check the cycles before the submission of the cycles at the Basket ball court.
VidhyanjaliAcademy presented Kota Juniors Cyclothon for kids (7 to 17 years age) who gets active with the name CYCLING.
Then came the most awaited moment “ the Mega event”, it was warm winter on , SUNDAY 24th March 2019 when the event organized “the new and grand version of Kota Juniors Cyclothon for kids of Kota”.The staff reported to school at 5.00 am in the morning , all dressed in red T- Shirts that were given by the management , the management itself wore black T- Shirts. Everyone was well pumped up to put in their best. It was a Tricycle & a Bicycle ride in which around 150 children participated. The event was flagged off at 6.30 am in the morning, all the kids were very excited and drove cycles joyfully. Again it was a Fun Ride and Not a Race "Where Every Rider is a WINNER".
Activities during the event were as follows:-
Seminar of mothers on topics like (Pollution, Hygiene, Environment, traffic rules. Social responsibility).
Talking about the Event and Registration the registration process had started 10 days before the event, It was divided in two age groups:
Group A- 7 to 10 Years,
7 to 10Years,
11 to 13Years
Group B- 13to 17Years,
13 to 15 Years
15 to 17 Years
The Registration process was available Online As well as offline.
Last date for registration was 18-March -2019, but it extended
Participant, once registered under any category, could not cancel his/her registration. There was no refund of registration fees paid by the participant in case of his/her failure to participate in the event.
The event was to introduce children to t cycling, encourage their independence and increase confidence. It was an ideal way to get children to exercise. It was not a race as every rider was a winner. Our Chief guest for the event was our Chairperson Mrs. PoonamGoyal who gave the winner a Tricycle and a cash prize of Rs. 2000/-said that in today’s time there are hardly any events for the little kids and this event will really give them a great boost to participate in the near future also. Consolation prizes were also given. In the end our Director thanked all the participants and the parents for coming and making the event a great success and ensured to have the event every year on a larger scale.
